October is here! Time for Philly’s Top Halloween Events in 2022

The City of Brotherly Love hosts some of the US’s biggest parties, festivals and parades.

There’s plenty of ways to celebrate the spooky season this year Liberty Bell Land, from family friendly fun to adult-level screams and scares.

We’re listing them all out for you, and updating them as we discover more.

Halloween Nights at Eastern State Penitentiary

Fairmount’s historic prison gets divided into five separate haunted house experiences: Delirium (in 3D), Machine Shop, The Crypt, Big Top Terror and Nightmares. There’s also a vampire-themed Bloodline Lounge for Halloween cocktails, live dance performances by the Skeleton Crew in the Gargoyle Gardens, a beer garden, tours and more.

The Nightmare Before Tinsel

This Halloween pop-up bar is located in an abandoned jewelry store. Imagine skeletons, a giant smoke-breathing dragon, creepy baby dolls and more. Of course, the drink menu does not disappoint either. The Blood Bag (filled with cranberry juice), skull-shaped specialty shots (take the skull home with you), and more served up in Halloween spirits.

Fright Factory

Venture into the basement of this 120+ year old factory split into three different frightening themes to explore, complete with scare-actors, special effects, and elaborate set design.

This haunted motel is worth the drive out to Delco. The Philly favorite known for production design has a 25-minute haunted hayride through Arasapha Farm. Plus, a haunted corn maze called Revenge of the Scarecrows!

Founding Footsteps ‘Bad Things’ Philly Tour

Taking place on a haunted BYOB trolley with live music and performances, Founding Footsteps is a locally inspired true crime tour of Philly! The tour runs Thursdays through Saturdays all October long (and the first weekend of November), and your $48 ticket also includes one cocktail from PJ Clarke’s, where the tour begins. Brian premiered his second Netflix stand-up special, Brian Regan: On The Rocks, on February 23, 2021. Brian’s first Netflix special, Brian Regan: Nunchucks And Flamethrowers, premiered to rave reviews on November 21, 2017, and is also available as a vinyl album.

Sublime With Rome was formed in 2010 by lead-singer/guitarist Rome Ramirez, bassist Eric Wilson, and drummer Carlos Verdugo.

In 2020 Sublime With Rome dominated the rock and alternative music charts as well as headlining shows in 5K+ capacity rooms and major festivals worldwide. With fan-favorite hits such as WRONG WAY, SANTERIA, BADFISH, WHAT I GOT, CARESS ME DOWN, 40oz TO FREEDOM and many more, the band’s concerts are pure sing along enjoyment from beginning to end.

The Aquadolls formed in La Mirada, CA in January 2012. Lead singer and songwriter Melissa Brooks began recording bedroom demos of her songs and eventually released the album ‘We Are Free’ in early 2013, followed by the LP ‘Stoked on You’ in December 2014.

After a brief break from releases, the stars aligned in July 2018, and the new era of The Aquadolls commenced with Jacqueline Proctor on drums and Keilah Nina on bass. The band grew as a powerful threesome leading up to the release of The Aquadolls’ highly anticipated second album, ‘The Dream and the Deception,’ recorded and self-produced by Brooks and self-released October 28, 2018, on Aqua Babe Records.

Following their sophomore album, the trio self-released the single “Suck on This” in summer 2019, followed by their 2020 viral cover of Lash’s “Take Me Away” (a track made famous via its inclusion in the 2003 Lindsay Lohan-starring Disney film ‘Freaky Friday’). They signed with California based Enci Records in 2021, and released a series of well-received singles (“Disappearing Girl” and “Cry Baby”), while playing festival dates such as Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Beach Life and Ohana Festival, opening for Jimmy Eat World and touring with the likes of White Reaper and more. The Aquadolls will release a new EP in 2022.

DEAD & COMPANY – Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, John Mayer, and Bob Weir, with Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti – is excited to announce its 2022 tour.

The band’s seventh tour since forming in 2015, which kicks off June 11^th in Los Angeles at the famed Dodger Stadium and runs through July, with a two-night stand at Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets, on July 15^th and July 16^th.

The 2022 Summer Tour, produced by Live Nation, also includes two nights in the Bay Area at Shoreline Amphitheater (June 13^th & 14^th),

two nights at UC Boulder’s Folsom Field (June 17^th & 18^th), two nights at the iconic Wrigley Field in Chicago (June 24^th & 25^th), a night at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA (July 2^nd),

And a night at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia (July 10^th), before wrapping up with epic shows at Citi Field in New York (July 15^th& July 16^th). A full listing of the 2022 tour dates can be found below.

Coming off of a sold out 42-date arena tour in 2021 and two special One Night Only shows in New York and London, the highly anticipated 2022 tour will allow fans to have access to multiple nights in each major city turning iconic venues into Harry’s House for the run of shows.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour will include a massive 32 nights at many of North America’s most notable venues, kicking off on Monday, August 15th and Tuesday, August 16th at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON.

Styles will continue his residencies in New York City for ten nights at Madison Square Garden, Austin for five nights at Moody Center, and Chicago for five nights at United Center, before wrapping up at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum for 10 night run concluding on Tuesday, November 15th.

Produced by Live Nation, the North American Summer 2022 tour will kick off June 8th in Mansfield, MA, making 35+ stops in New York, Nashville, Dallas, San Diego, and more before concluding on August 6th at Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Joining Train on the road is Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jewel as direct support on all dates and multi-platinum rock band Blues Traveler as direct support on all dates except Red Rocks.
